This is the video of Shaun White’s 3rd and Final Run at the 2009 Winter X Games. He wiped out on his back to back 1080s in his first two runs and he had to ace it on his 3rd run. Sorry about the quality It was taken with a digital camera and I had to have the run on tape. The judges pretty much agreed that his score was too high and that he shouldn’t have beat Peirce who’s run was better then Shaun’s under their perspective. He in no way had a bad run, but it may seem like his score was bumped up a little so he could be the first person to reciece back to back golds in WXG Halfpipe. I’ll let u watch and decide….

White told the story of his mother going the gold medal to the cleaners in his interview with that guy on TV. It was so funny! He asked his mom if there was a way they could get the gold medal ribbon clean as it had grown very disgusting and his mother took the medal to the cleaners! Shaun was astonished when his mom came back it back with the dry cleaning bag on top of it. Shaun also thought it was funny that she complained about how much it was to get it cleaned.
I think what Shaun White showed us at the x-games was just unbelievable. I wonder if he can do it again.
I want to snowboard, but my dad doesn’t want to take me, though my mom does. He’s the only one that can drive on snow.

ight I love shaun white, huge fan. Shaun definately deserved the slopestyle run, but to be honest Pierce deserved the gold in super pipe. Props to shaun, but a second place would have been more appropriate. And I would say Steve fisher is the most annoying snowboarder at the x games. Havent met him but I get that feeling.

Alright that run was alright but I think second place would be a good fit. However, d Shaun White having his Red Bull secret project going on hmmm laid down some crazy mad tricks so prolly will be ontop for sure!
Shaun your good but you are soooooooooooo over rated your cocky and as far as i can tell your kinda a dog your a kid with a lot of growing up to do dont let your success go to your head like it seems to be doing the only reason you won this is because your name not because you deserved it

Im a huge fan of shaun but i would have to say peirce deserved this one.
I first saw Shaun in a tony hawk skate tour video. He s come along way , even a clothing line in Target. thx for the yt vid , peace bob
shauns run was waaaaaay cleaner and that was the huge decideing factor in the finals..
