Photoshop CS3D (No. 24)

Tuesday, 3 April 2007 The new Photoshop CS3 Extended is actually mind blowing. I will have to take two weeks off after this episode because I cant stand the excitement any more. We put Photoshop CS3 through the hoops this week and produce some startling results.

    Does this mean that the textures created on the 3d objects in Photoshop can be exported back to say 3DS Max and rendered from their?

    Pretty cool stuff.
    But not really to relevant unless you have 3d stock images.

    If you created the 3d object yourself I’m sure you could do that in whatever program you used to create it in the first place.

    If you’re in college you can get PS Extended CS4 for $200 or just get the whole design premium package with InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop Extended, Flash, Dreamweaver, Fireworks, and Acrobat for $400.

    ok :S wel li cna get both free and have used both and personally prefer GIMP. and number two i belive photoshop cs2 is betetr than cs2 just better layed out that why i properly like gimp as it is similar setup to cs2 but i have tried both and find GIMP better so shut the fuck up

    Ok Mr, I cna’t sepll, cs2 is better than cs2? That’s just nonsense… I personally use PS CS4 and I think it’s way more proffessionnal than GIMP…

    yes i meant cs3/cs4 sorry. and why do u care what i prefer GIMP is constantly updated unliek ps which is only sometimes and i only use GIMP for designing which its good for :D

    your right. The workflow in gimp is also amaturistic. Gimp is open source therefore made by people who do this in free time. You cant compare a program like that to a program that has bin developed by many team developers who studyed for it.

    This tutorial would be useful if he went through the steps of how to create a 3D object for photoshop first.
