Made in Photoshop Elements 7.0 [05-06-10] Wacom Bamboo Pen & Touch Here’s another vid of me drawing: www.youtube.com I drew this with reference to another image of Miku I got off of Google, so… yeah. I was just curious as to how close I could get to the real one. Fun stuff! Took about four hours total. Ah, and the song is Triple Baka, just in case you didn’t know.

Thats awesome! I have the same thing you do, with the tablet and everything, but how did you get the scribbled coloring out side the lines disappear?
@iputbaconinthesoap Thanks! And by scribbled coloring, you mean the over-coloring I do right after the final hard outline, right? So. After I did the coloring of a certain section(say hair or shirt) in a new layer (below the outline layer), I switched to the outline layer and used the magic wand to select all sections of the drawing that don’t need that color in them, then switch back to the color layer, and delete it. The key is in photoshop’s ability to keep previous selections through layers.

I’m actually messing around with this tablet now, but im TOTALLY lost! I have NO clue how to do what you do!

Umm… So. For your question. The video is pretty sped up, so you might be able to see it, but what I do is make the sketch on its own layer, and then carefully draw the hard outlines on a separate layer on top of the sketch one. Your soo good. I tried drawing with my Tablet in PSE 7.0 but it won’t let me D:<. I have the SAME exact tablet, Bamboo Pen and Touch and I downloaded the drivers but ever since I got my tablet its hated it. Can you help?

But wuh? Where exactly is the problem? Does your tablet work outside of PSE? Or is it something else, like pressure-sensitivity not working? Get back to me and I’ll try to help!
@budgiesRcool Np ^^. My tablet is fine with anything else like Paint Tool Sai and Manga Studio but not PSE. Whenever, say I stroke my tablet pen up when I’m using PSE it doesn’t go up, the cursor doesn’t follow with the Tablet Pen :O. There aren’t any preferences for your Tablet. And thanks.
@MikiMiki1314 Huh. Weeeiiirrrd. So PSE just doesn’t respond to your tablet at all? Like, can you use it to select different brushes or options? Or does it just not work when you’re pressing down with the pen to draw? Sorry I’m responding to your questions with even more questions!
@budgiesRcool lol its okay. But no not even that. It even doesn’t respond when I open up PSE or even try and get a new page.

@simoneevee8 Hahaha, you know it. xD This song just seemed to fit it. It’s funny, that’s actually literally true, cuz after I sped up the raw video a couple times, I found out that Triple Baka was the PERFECT length, starting and ending with the vid. Haha, hooray for convenience!
@AnimeFreak792 Ah, yeah, I find it pretty hard to describe all this photoshop stuff… Ooh, maybe I could make a tutorial-ish video! If a picture is worth a thousand words, then a video must be worth… a lot of words. xD Yay! Thanks to you, I’ve found something to do on this uneventful Summer vacation!

how did you draw the lines? how’d you get them to be smooth ( is that the word? xP)
@elkstar900 Hahaha, well, all I can really say, is that the keys Ctrl+z are going to be your best friends. xD I pretty much just zoomed in to the area I needed to work on, and drew the line a bajillion times until I got one I liked.
